The pokemon craze has consumed us all. Whether we took it as fun in the beginning or not, we have all become addicted to these pocket monsters. Some like them for pets. Some like them to battle. Either way, they have taken us all in. One day, as we all fear, pokemon will be gone, but as it seems, pokemon will still have a place in all our hearts for several years to come.

Well, we now have a new Pokemon character after Brock decided to stay behind to become a better Pokemon breeder. He has joined Ash and Misty in order to meet Prof. Oak. He is a Pokemon Watcher by proffesion, sketching wild pokemon and he has also brought new and interesting pokemon. Also, what's up with the GS ball? I think it could be the all mighty Masterball. Or,could it hold MEW, the most elusive Pokemon of all? We'll see. As you know, Ash has now been facing the orange crew and (as Pokemon Game Boy players know, the original cartoon foolowed the game) I believe that the orange crew is basically the story line to Pokemon: Gold/Silver.

My first complaint is about selection. We all have our favorite Pokemon, mine is Zapdos. Through the selection process, we go for the most seen or the cutest. But what about the undedrestimated Pokemon Drowzee and Hypno? Both have the extremely useful move, hypnosis. With that, even if it is a low level pokemon, you can put them to sleep and then put out a stronger one. (extremely effective against elite four). Also, rock type in general. With the launch of Pokemon Yellow, rock type will be more handy than ever since it is completely unnaffected by electric attacks and their defense is through the roof.
